| Description |
Chromogenic substrate used for the detection of beta-galactosidase activity, producing a yellow colour following enzymic hydrolysis. Utilised in the Colilert system for the detection of total coliforms. Substrate from non-animal origin. |
To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade. The product may deteriorate slightly if exposed to light and humidity for prolonged periods.
