| Description |
Chromogenic substrate used for the detection of alpha-galactosidase activity, producing a green-blue precipitate when used under aerobic conditions. The substrate can be used for differentiating alpha-galactosidase-positive strains of yeast, for the enumeration of bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria in milk, and for species differentiation within the family Enterobacteriaceae. |
To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers, under nitrogen, in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
