| Description |
Chromogenic substrate used for the detection of alpha-glucosidase activity, producing an insoluble green-blue precipitate following hydrolysis of the substrate when used under aerobic conditions. The substrate is used in the Druggan-Forsythe-Iversen medium (DFI agar) for the selective detection of Enterobacter sakazakii in infant milk. |
To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers, under nitrogen, in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
