| Description |
Fluorogenic substrate used for the detection of beta-glucuronidase activity. The substrate shows superior performance over MUG (Product code 44064) when used for the detection of beta-glucuronidase producing E. coli in short-term assays. CMUG works with very similar excitation/emission wavelengths to MUG, but exhibits much higher fluorescence than MUG at the physiologically important pH 7.3. |
To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
