Description Chromogenic substrate used for the detection of beta-glucuronidase activity producing tightly-localised magenta-coloured colonies following hydrolysis of the substrate under aerobic conditions. The substrate is utilised in modified mTEC Agar for the identification of E. coli.

To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers, under nitrogen, in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
