Description Chromogenic enzyme substrate used for the detection of beta-xylosidase activity giving an insoluble green-blue coloured precipitate after hydrolysis when used under aerobic conditions. It can be used for the identification of bacteria such as Klebsiella and Enterobacter.

To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers, under nitrogen, in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
