Description Chromogenic enzyme substrate used for the detection of beta-xylosidase activity producing tightly-localised magenta-coloured colonies following hydrolysis of the substrate when used under aerobic conditions.

To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers, under nitrogen, in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
