Description	Novel chromogenic substrate used for the detection of beta-galactosidase activity. Brown-substrates are colourless compounds, which when cleaved in the presence of an iron salt produce a non-diffuse brown end-point. The substrates are suitable for use in solid media under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. This product and its use are covered by claims in Glycosynth^s patents EP3066209, US9938562 and US10443084.

To prevent deterioration, the product should be stored in tightly closed containers in a freezer or cold room at -20 degrees centigrade.
